Today was the 1st day back to kinder for cody, its term 3 he's doing well. here is a pic he drew today.

I got my blood test results everything but 2 were normal, i have high white blood cells and low iron.so now i have to increase my iron tablet doseage and also get more tests to find the cause of my high white cell count.

eye test results

Cody has perfect vision the optometrist said. which is great.He was very co-operative for the eye test too.Not like cody at all lol.

Tyson is off to the Maternal child Health Nurse (MCHN) today to see if he is developing ok,I am bit worred about his speech and his tip toe walking,the fact he needs to be wrapped to sleep.

Tommorow afternoon Cody gets his eyes tested.Hopefully he doesn't need glasses or anything I dont know how we'd get him to keep them on.

So today,I've rang the optometrist and booked cody in for an eye test next monday in the afternoon.I also booked Tyson& cody in for dental check ups which aren't until july 10th(first available appointment).

Next I am going to try and get cody and tyson's hearing tested. For cody its just to be sure he is hearing words and his speech is just a articulation issue. And for tyson we want to be sure its not hearing making him not talk so much.

Tests:Update

We got Tyson's results today. He is bug/virus/parasite free and also tested negative for lactose intolerance. So now we think its Gluten/wheat.

Also going too mention to peadtrician when we see them, Tyson can't tell the difference by touch if somethings hot or cold. He can if you tell him "this is hot"but if he isnt told he touches it scolds himself then wonders why he hurt himself then does it again. He still likes being wrapped to go to sleep.Right now he has infected eczema on his bottom,poor thing ,we have cream for it but the dr said if that cream doesnt clear it up within 7days to come back and he has to go see a dermatoligist.

So tyson will have a few friends hahaha,allergist,peadtrician,dermatoligist,gastroentolgiist... and depending on his heart scan maybe a cardiologist 0_o lots of "gists"there.

We need to make sure Tyson hasn't got this condition called: Coarctation of the Aorta(click here for info)its what Allan has.

Cody is goingto have his heart checked for that too. Ahh yes Jess has her plate full lol

Tests

Tyson is being tested for Lactose intolerance(link to info) and Gluten intolerance/cealiac disease.(link to info). we should get results monday hopefully,for the lactose ones.Gluten requires him seeing a peadtrician getting blood test as well as a day surgery stay to put some tube down his throat to bowel.

secrects to getting 3 kids to bed by 8:30pm

Yes you read right,somehow I manage to have all 3 munchkins asleep by 8:30pm. Cody used to be the hardest to get to sleep but right now he's a breeze(hope I dont jinx myself ).Tyson is often asleep within 10 minutes of Cody being asleep,then charlie is asleep within 10 minutes of Tyson conking out.

What are my special secrects you ask? Well, I am awake at the lovely hour of 6am everyday (*insert groan here*) my boys like to rise with the sun now....oh yay hahaha.
Anyway, recently we decided to get healthier and took things out that werent that great for us. Now the boys eat Muesli with some honey & milk for breakfast. Lunch is wholemeal wraps with salad and meat and cheese. Dinner is chicken schnitzel,mash potatoe and 3 or 4 other vegies with gravy. Snacks are fruit or vegetables. Drinks are water or the rare cup of juice.

During the day I let Cody & tyson run around they also have 1 nap during the day.I have also started playing music such as Bach,mozart,beethoven as cody seems to find it relaxing.

If anyone wants my muesli recipie yell out (its very kid friendly) codyb eats 2 bowls for breakfast he loves it that much.

just me & the boys

Well allan went out for the day and night to a birthday party that I didnt want to go to.So I stayed home with the boys. somehow i have managed to get all 3 down to bed by 8:30pm. We had domino's pizza for dinnerbit of a rebellion as allan dislikes dominos so never get to order it hahaha.


Well before i go off totidy the house a bit i thought i'd write a bit about me and the rest of this nuthouse.

Cody

Cody is 4 on anzac day, although in height he looks the same age as Tyson. What he lacks in sizehe makes up for in personality. He has a global developmental delay (GDD). Heis a bright kid ho just hasan expressive speech delay and needs a bit of help with some fine motor skills and social skills and with his moods.Cody does what his EI call self harm behaviour he hurts himself when he's peeved or upset.

He loves animals and idolises steve & bindi irwin. He is very attached to our cat and to charlie. In fact cody is the only person to get charlie laughing hysterically.He is fully potty trained now.He has a fascination with computers,numbers,music and colours.He loves to dance.
Allan says there is nothing wrong with cody he could be right ,we dont know.Cody goes to preschool 3 days a week (tuesday &friday mornings and wednesday afternoons).He does speech therapy once a fortnight and EI once a fortnight.

Tyson

Tyson is 3 in october,just started potty training,he still has the odd accident but he is learning.he has learnt a fair bit of codys agressiveness and it comes out in tyson alot so at the moment we are working on toning that down.He tries not to talk but we are trying to encourage him to use his words.As i know he has a big vocab he just isnt much of a talker.

His favourite show is Ni Hao Kia-Lan ,dora the explorer . He has learnt chinese from kai-lan. He loves music,sport,horses,animals,food. His favourite thing to eat is cheese.He thinks he is cody's twin.he goes to playgroup friday mornings.

Charlie

Charlie is a happy baby he smiles and giggles.He is a chatterbox,full of goo's and gah's (even t 1am!) He loves to play on the floor he can roll and hold his head up well but isnt able to sit for very long un-assisted yet.He looks just like Tyson did at same age.





Life with a truckie as a partner is no more different to having a partner who works long hours.The only difference is Allan spends his day driving round melbourne and surrounding areas in a truck,most days he is home by 3pm the latest he has got home is 4:30pm. Last year he crashed his truck 3times, the thought of him hurting himself or worse someone else in a crash does scare me.
