charlie's room makeover part 3

So far, we have the cot dismantled and sanding it down to be re-stained to a jarrah colour,to match the toddler bed.



Thanks to freecycle and the grapevine of friends we have only had to so far buy a toddler bed ($200)the cot mattress on the toddler bed was $111. sandpaper,hinges for the coat and wood varnish, we will need to buy anew cot mattress and mat for the changetable i just got off freecycle.So before i decorate the total should be about $491.95. This is pretty darn good considering I got qouted over $4000 for nursery furniture at a baby store...(yes i nearly had a heart attack too).

so far,I've budgeted $118 for fabric for decorating(sheets etc),$25 for A4 frames for pictures,$40 for an airwrap bumper,$60 for a monitor.
so the grand total shouldnt be far off $734.95
This total could change if i acquire things on my list from freecycle lol
